The Carbon wheel is an evolution of the lightweight design popular in Italy and the USA. The revised wheel is approximately 3 g lighter, uses glass-fiber-reinforced material and receives special attention during bonding.

Bi-compound front tires are especially useful where maximum stability is required, such as very tight layouts with multiple 180° corners. The harder outer section supports the tire, helping the car roll through corners without hooking or traction rolling.
