The Lens Bodies BORA is a competition-focused 1/8 on-road body developed in a wind tunnel with support from the Fluid Dynamics/Aerodynamics department of SUN University Aversa.
The aim was to achieve an effective balance between downforce and smooth cornering behaviour for faster and more consistent lap times. Development was carried out together with factory drivers.
The standard thickness is comparable to a Matrix Ultra Light body and is designed to meet the current minimum body-weight requirement when uncut.
Background: Lens Bodies is Hot Race’s body-shell brand. Its aerodynamic studies and wind-tunnel development were also incorporated into university research by Emiliana Cozzolino of Federico II University of Naples.
