Approximately 5 g lighter than its predecessor while retaining the proven internal specification.
Based on the current O.S. platform, the engine features a hand-finished crankshaft, revised combustion-chamber angle and additional case machining.
The setup provides an excellent balance of power and fuel economy: 4-minute runs are normally straightforward and 5 minutes may also be achievable depending on conditions.
Top speed is significantly higher than a standard O.S. engine, while torque remains similar. Revised bearing seats improve durability, and the flow-optimized backplate provides better idle stability and throttle response.
