Hot Race 1/12 tyre guide
- T-Foam Soft Rim: a versatile all-round choice. Recommended diameter: 40.5 mm front / 41.5 mm rear.
- T-Foam Standard Rim: more direct steering response than the Soft Rim while using the same basic setup.
- Red Dot: particularly strong in Stock classes and on carpet carrying a mix of traction compounds, where maximum grip is required.
- Hagberg Edition: comparable to the Pink compound and rolls slightly more freely than Red Dot in very high-grip conditions.
The Red Dot Special was developed especially for EOS and ETS carpet, where a smoother, less aggressive response is important. The compound helped XRAY factory driver Alexander Hagberg achieve three European Championship titles.
No additional tyre-management routine or constant compound changes are required. The tyres retain their consistency over repeated runs and do not need to be aired out between runs.
